The Acumen Career Services team provides job search assistance and personalized services to our students. We help job seekers assess skills and experience, connect with employers, find work and start on the path to skills training. We can help you achieve your employment goals in a number of ways.

We provide:

  • Personalized job search assistance
  • Connections to local employers
  • Resume help and techniques for an effective job search
  • Information about different careers and occupations
  • Local labor market information and resources
  • Employment and training opportunities
  • Information about all Employment Ontario programs and services
  • Advice about and referral to other community services and support

Depending on your employment needs and career goals, a Career Services team member will determine whether you need more individualized assistance and support to help you develop your career and set goals, assess your skills and interests, and prepare you for interviews and employment.

This event will serve as a vital platform for you to engage with various organizations, learn about different industries, and discover potential career paths. To ensure you make the most of this opportunity, we have a few essential details and requirements to share with you:

Participation Requirements: 

***To attend the Ace Acumen Academy Career Fair, students must fulfill one of the following criteria: 

1:1 Appointment: Book a 1:1 appointment with our career advisors. These appointments provide personalized guidance tailored to your career aspirations and goals.

Workshops: Attend one of our Interview/Career Fair workshops held in November. These workshops will equip you with valuable skills and insights to succeed at the Career Fair. Workshops are available in-person at all three campuses and virtually every week.

Booking a 1:1 appointment or attending a workshop is essential to secure your spot at the Career Fair. This ensures that you are well-prepared to engage with potential employers and make the most of this exciting opportunity.
