The Acumen Career Services team provides job search assistance and personalized services to our students. We help job seekers assess skills and experience, connect with employers, find work and start on the path to skills training. We can help you achieve your employment goals in a number of ways.
We provide:
- Personalized job search assistance
- Connections to local employers
- Resume help and techniques for an effective job search
- Information about different careers and occupations
- Local labour market information and resources
- Employment and training opportunities
- Information about all Employment Ontario programs and services
- Advice about and referral to other community services and support
Depending on your employment needs and career goals, a Career Services team member will determine whether you need more individualized assistance and support to help you develop your career and set goals, assess your skills and interests, and prepare you for interviews and employment.
